Why are we still there? As we divert our attention to Iraq, Afghanistan has become an al-Qaeda strong hold. President Karzai has limited authority and power outside of the capital.
No, I do not feel safer. I hvaen't felt safe since the attacks. I never quite figured out why, after 9/11/01, that we didn't go after the perpetrators. That's the equivalent of the guy next door vandalizing your house, and you chase after his neighbor.
