Gratitude

I am thankful for my new Congressman John Adler who will go to Washington and stick up for what I care about. I am especially grateful that I was a part of the team that got Adler elected. It's very satisfying to play -- and win -- on your own home turf.

The Comeback

I've been away since April doing some campaign consulting work (we won! I have a new Congressman, YAY!)  

It was a great experience I would never trade but it meant kinda subverting my opinions for a while.  It's a professional courtesy in the business, I reckon.  

So the election is over and I'm working myself back into the routine.  Which means tapping out a few paragraphs on the keyboard to get the feel back.  

I'm sure it won't be long before I rediscover how fun it is to have a soapbox.

When it could to Iraq, Senator Frank Lautenberg's either being forgetful or ...... dishonest. Thankfully, New Jersey voters who want to shake things up now have a choice: Rob Andrews for Senate.

Frank Lautenberg: out of touch, out of time

That's the choice New Jersey democrats have on June 5th when they choose their party's candidate for U.S. Senate.

I choose Rob Andrews over Frank Lautenberg for an ever-growing list of reasons.

The lastest: a petty snub that suggests he's brittle and his staff is spooked.

One word: Boo.

Rob Andrews or Frank Lautenberg?

The last time a New Jersey Senator was from South Jersey, Frank Lautenberg was, like, my age.  I am all about Rob Andrews in the June primary because "all politics is local." 

And for me, it doesn't get any more local than the Delaware River.

Professional editing of product with photos+ inclusion of titles and text.

Final edited package includes 5 videos, approximately one minute each.

Creation and maintenance of campaign's YouTube page. This includes easy access to links and embed codes for sharing videos with email universes or posting on the Internet

One DVD with custom case and labels of your project.

Travel within South Jersey

Total Cost: $3,000

Additional filming of subject: $100/hour or or $300 per day. This includes time spent setting up, breaking down and manipulating the environment to achieve a suitable background

Other options:

Facebook maintenance: $500 per month. This service includes leveraging social networks to the maximum advantage for your campaign; networking with in-district residents and providing them with GOTV info + links to campaign messages.

Single-issue/ a la cart videos: $400.

Obama Rising

Hillary Clinton may be the Queen of the Polls, but with the concerted efforts of the Activist Class of the Netroots and Grassroots Barack Obama will score a robust share of NJ delegates on February 5th.

If Hillary think this is in the bag, then she should pass me some of whatever she's smoking.

It's gonna be onle heck of a tsunami super Tuesday.
